While the fruits are getting ripe on the trees, barley is getting ripe under the trees.
Seed balls with barley and subterranean clover has been sown in last autumn under trees(pear, fig, almond, cherry, oak, willow)
The area that has been sown is around 500m2. We estimate to harvest around 200-250 kg of barley. 2 weeks ago white clover has been sown naked. Today millet will be sown with seed balls in the existing field. Towards the end of June barley will get harvested.
Till now no water has been used for crops, just one time we have watered in order to germinate clover, you can see on the pictures. There are 3 day of rain next week, so no water will be used for germination of millet.
No tilling, (soil has been cut with a broadfork first and the last time)
No machine,
No pesticide,
No fertilizers,
No herbicide,
No petrol.
Millet will be sown the first time, we have no idea about the possibile yield.
All these natural foods are growing only with a single human physical power, which is only laying the straw on the soil and sowing seeds.
