Snow, frost, and severe cold are at the door. We will see -10 degrees in a few days. The soil will freeze.
Although we mulch with crop stalks and cover the soil, a few cold nights will kill many seeds and livings but also cause many to be reborn.
It is a time where we see the value and importance of seed balls prepared with 101 kinds of seeds.
Seeds of this year will be very different than the last years’ where the temperatures had rarely dropped below 0 and the seeds had survived and continued to develop.
Fortunately, we don’t have to worry about any of these. We are mixing and scattering 101 kinds of seeds. When the time comes, the seeds that need to germinate will germinate eventually.
If we were to act with mind and experience based on the past years, we would probably have scattered the seeds that will die this year. However, the only way to scatter seeds is the way of a child who has a clean mind that reborn every day. Natural food that we neither eat nor sell will be missing. If not one, the other will grow and nature will find its way on its own.
These cold days, we experienced in the depths of the winter, will clear many things. This cold winter will increase the joy and abundance of upcoming spring.
