Paddy that Fukuoka named after himself (grown from seed balls) was harvested
The soil was not plowed, weeds were not fought, no agricultural products / poisons or tools were used. Paddy is not watered. They just got to this point with the rains.
For the first time this year, after 4 years of experimentation, we were able to sow and harvest rice using Fukuoka’s natural farming methods.
We harvested 450kg of paddy from 1 decare area. The harvest was completed with 2 days of work of 2 people.
This type of paddy, which Fukuoka named after himself, is medium in size, very resistant to diseases, and the grains are round / elliptical.
Note: Paddy is a plant that loves water very much, but can grow without water. It is not possible to grow rice without water in soils that are damaged by chemicals, salted and low in organic matter.
